Rising Higher and Higher

Benafsha came to the United States as a Special Immigrant Visa holder during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Commonwealth Catholic Charities' refugee resettlement team assisted Benafsha as she began her new life in Virginia. CCC has assisted dozens of Afghan families just like Benafsha's since the Afghan refugee crisis began this summer.
