CCC helps individuals experiencing housing instability to reach their long-term goals of safety and stability. Team members like Rosa Lovo are a reliable and trusted source of support.
“Our first priority is helping people find a safe, stable place to live,” said Lovo. “Then we walk alongside them as they work toward their personal goals.”
Both Justin and Heather came to CCC independently and received the support they need to change their lives for the better.
Justin

For years, Justin’s physical health has limited his ability to work, leading him to homelessness and mental health struggles.
“When I met Justin, his goal was to find a steady job or steady income and to pay off his debts,” said Lovo. “He is determined, steady, and open-minded and is making great progress.”
After working with CCC’s supportive housing team, he moved into his own apartment in March.
“Being settled in has encouraged him to express more agency over his physical and mental health treatment,” says Rosa “He is the driving force behind his disability application, support group meetings, job hunt, and weight loss.”
Heather

After losing her job and facing a period of instability, Heather was unable to keep her housing and ended up living on the street. While her mother cared for her son, Heather worked to regain stability.
With CCC’s support, Heather moved into her own apartment in March.
“Heather is so happy in her new space,” said Lovo. “She says her strengths are peace and quiet and being in her own home has helped her explore those strengths.”
Her son continues to live with his grandmother as Heather continues to build a strong support system.
With a supportive team behind them, Heather and Justin are no longer just surviving—they are thriving.
