To qualify for our workforce support services you must be eligible for Virginia's Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible families must have at least one child living with a parent, both parents, or a caretaker relative.
The child and parent(s) or caretaker relative must be Virginia residents.
The child must be under 18 (or if 18 is enrolled in high school, secondary school, or vocational/technical school and expected to complete it before or in the month he/she turns 19).
The child and parent(s) or caretaker relative must be U.S. citizens or eligible immigrants (e.g., lawful permanent residents).
The family must meet income limits.

No. Our goal is to support TANF families by helping household members meet their unique career development needs.

How much will this program cost me?

CCC’s services are provided at no cost if you are TANF eligible

Yes! We partner with local employers to connect you with job opportunities and provide ongoing support even after you’re hired.

Are there income requirements?

Your income will need to be within Virginia TANF limits at enrollment.

Can I participate if I already have a job?

Yes! Many training programs are designed for people who are currently employed but want to advance their careers, switch industries, or gain new skills.

What if I have a criminal record?

We believe everyone deserves a second chance. Many workforce development programs are open to individuals with justice-involved backgrounds and can help you find employers who are open to fair chance hiring.
