Volunteer

Assist the accredited representative in the preparation of various case filings including adjustment of status, initial and replacement work authorization documents, petitions for family members to immigrate and requests of public documents from the government.

Support the food pantry and baby diaper closet with collecting and sorting donations

Support a refugee youth with homework assignments ranging from basic English to college level

Support a youth as a friend and role model by teaching, guiding, and providing encouragement

Assist with school registration and afterschool activities

Lead an ESL class with the help of CCC's education specialist and ESL curriculum

Provide ESL help to families on a one on one basis. This role may also support ESL teachers

Lead a Citizenship class with the help of CCC's education specialist and curriculum

Assist with providing health education to refugees

Help provide training and employment preperation for refugees

Assist with trainings and workshops to empower refugee women

You'll be matched with a refugee teenager or young adult to provide support with college and job applications and community involvement

Get matched with a refugee family or individual who are in need of extra support

Help out at special events a couple times a year

Transport refugee families to/from medical, legal, professional appointments
