Interpreter Rates

Rates vary based on which CCC office is closest to you. ​

Filter Rates by Location
In-person Interpreter in Richmond
$80 per hour (1 hour minimum and then charged in 15 minute increments)
In-person Interpreter in Roanoke and Newport News
$65 per hour (1 hour minimum and then charged in 15 minute increments)
Virtual/Phone Interpreter
$35 for first 30minutes, then $10 for 15minute increments
Flat rate for travel: 31 - 60 miles (Roanoke and Newport News only)
$25
Flat rate for travel: 61-100 miles round trip
$35
Flat rate for travel: 101-150 miles round trip
$60
Flat rate for travel: 151 -200 miles round trip
$75

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full service fee.

For travel rates, all efforts are made to assign an interpreter closet to the interpretation site.

Translation Rates

Common language translations (Spanish, French, etc.)
$50 per page
Uncommon language translations or languages requiring the use of special keyboards (Bosnian, Nepali, etc.)
$70 per page
Translation for technical documents (such as legal documents, operation manuals, etc.)
$90 per page
