Hello! My name is Maggie and I am a single person living in Roanoke, VA. I may be building my family differently than I once imagined, but my heart has never been more ready. Thanks for your consideration.

A letter to the birth parents

Hello,

I hope you are doing well. My name is Maggie and it's been my desire to adopt a child for over a decade. I am planning on raising a child on my own as a single parent.

I wanted to take a moment to express my admiration as a family considering adoption. It takes a lot of courage and love to make such a difficult decision, and I truly respect you for it. Recently, I have been reflecting a lot on what it would mean to be a parent. I've always dreamed of creating a loving and stable home for a child, and your child would be very much welcomed into my life and home. I know and understand the importance of honoring your child's heritage and roots, and I am committed to creating an environment where they can feel proud of who they are.

Thank you for considering me as a potential parent for your child. I am filled with

hope and gratitude at the thought of welcoming them into my life and providing

them with all the love and care they deserve.

God Bless,

Maggie

Our Community

I am the oldest of four girls. My three younger sisters are all married and two of them have young children of their own. I also have cousins that are around the same age as us who also have young children. My family and I are also involved with our church and we have a strong church family that consists of young families and their young children. Our church is growing and evolving and there is not a shortage of opportunities for child interactions.
