Best friends, adventure partners, and two people who love to laugh and find joy in the little things every day!

A letter to the birth parents

We truly appreciate you for taking the time to learn about us and for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We can't begin to imagine the strength and love it takes to make this decision, and we are honored to be a part of this journey with you!

We have always known that adoption was a part of our journey and want you to know that we are committed to providing a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. If we have the privilege of becoming parents to your child, we will honor their roots and the incredible courage you’ve shown. We will share their adoption story with love, respect, and gratitude, and ensure they know how much they are loved by you.

Thank you again for considering us. We would love to get to know you and share more about the life we hope to build for your child. Whatever you decide, we wish you peace and strength every step of the way.

With warmth and respect,

David & Emily

David

Cook and home gardener

David is the energetic and creative spirit of the family. He has an enthusiastic and vibrant personality! David loves cooking, football, and playing video games. His culinary skills are well-known among his friends, and he caters and hosts a variety of events throughout the year. When not cooking for family or friends, David finds joy in gardening, especially the herbs and vegetables that often find their way into his delicious home-cooked meals.

Emily

Auditor by day, puzzle queen by night

Known for her empathy and kindness, Emily is the calm and steady presence in the household. Emily’s nurturing spirit shines through in everything she does, whether it’s supporting her friends, caring for her pets, or planning special surprises for David. She cannot wait to be a mom! Emily loves to read books and build puzzles. Emily also enjoys doing yardwork and has recently joined David in growing vegetables in their garden, finding satisfaction from using home grown ingredients in their meals.

Our Community

We live in a neighborhood, known for its friendly community and excellent schools. We have a large backyard with lots of room to play. We live but five minutes from a large recreation center where we can swim, play, and exercise as a family. Our house is also close to parks, hiking trails, and many extended family members.

We have a big backyard, enclosed patio, and open home layout. It's the perfect place for a child to grow, learn, and thrive. We have a small garden where we grow vegetables and herbs, and our home is filled with books, art and craft supplies, as well as plenty of puzzles and games, encouraging creativity and exploration. We enjoy watching movies and playing games in our large family room. Every Sunday, Emily's mom hosts a family dinner and game night.

Emily's family, including her mom, brother, uncle, and grandfather all live locally on the family farm she grew up on. David's close family, including all but one of his siblings, lives locally as well. Our social circle includes other families with children, providing a supportive network for playdates, outings, and shared experiences. Our friends come from diverse backgrounds, and we celebrate a wide range of cultural traditions and holidays.
