We want to begin this letter by simply saying thank you. Thank you for considering us in what must be one of the most emotional, difficult, and courageous journeys of your life. We understand this decision is not easy, but we want you to know that whatever you choose, you are not alone. We see your strength and admire your heart.

Please know that we both approach this entire process with deep respect for you -- not just as the person who may give birth to a child, but as a woman making an incredibly thoughtful, loving decision. Your love for your child is clear in every step you're taking and it humbles us.

Should you choose us to be a part of your child's story, it would be the greatest honor of our lives. We promise to welcome your child with open arms, unconditional love, and openness to wherever life takes them. Our home is warm, calm, and filled with laughter and music. We live in a peaceful neighborhood filled with tons of other kids and a supportive community of friends and family who already know what a miracle this child would be.

We also want you to know that your presence in their life -- in whatever way feels right to you -- is something we welcome. Whether it's letters, photos, visits, or simply knowing you're out there rooting for them. We always honor and support what feels most comfortable to you. You will always be spoken of with respect and love in our home.

No matter what path you choose, please know you are not alone. We admire your strength and bravery and know this is a decision only you can make. If we are lucky enough to walk this path with you, we will do everything in our power to be the kind of parents your child -- and you -- would be proud of.
