Commonwealth Catholic Charities’ Refugee Resettlement Program helps those who have been forced by war, persecution, and violence to leave their homes, their livelihood, and often, even their families in search of safety. We help refugees rebuild their lives and gain stability, equipping them with skills, resources, and guidance as they start over.

CCC has partnered with RVA Lions, for an exclusive showing of the movie, The Merger, at The Byrd Theater on June 18 at 7:00 p.m. This Australian movie tells the story of the "Bodgy Creek Roosters Australian Football Club [who are] in trouble and will either have to fold or merge with their arch rivals - the Hudson’s Flat Cougars. But prodigal son coach Troy Carrington has other ideas. To save the club he embarks on a program to recruit refugees and unwittingly takes the community on a journey of change."
