Call Reassurance


Provide companionship and security to lonely and/or isolated older adults. Volunteers call a prearranged list of clients to chat with them and check on their well-being. Clients often have little other support and look forward to receiving their calls. Calls generally take 1 – 1 1/2 hours. Regular calls are made Monday through Thursday. Substitute callers are greatly needed to fill in when regular callers are away. Training and support are provided. Daytime hours are flexible dependent upon need and volunteer availability.
