First and foremost, I want to thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I am overjoyed and excited that you are considering me as a prospective parent for your child. I believe that when God is in the plan, he makes everything beautiful in its time. I love children. This is not an empty statement. I really believe they are gifts to be appreciated and cherished. Each child that is given life is a hope and promise for the world’s future. Thank you for choosing to aid in the gift.
I grew up in a God-centered, loud, fun-loving and large extended family. We may not be perfect, but our hearts are big, and our arms are open wide! Everyone becomes family to us. Our gatherings tend to be large with tons of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There is lots of laughter and love. My grandmother and great uncle were adopted as children and two of my nieces joined the family through adoption as well.
One of my passions is helping children to develop, learn and experience life in a positive way. I try to use my gifts, hobbies and knowledge to help the children in my life gain a wider view of the world around them. I take my godchildren, foster children and younger cousins on trips to cultural and sporting events, we go to museums, amusement parks and take fun road trips to different states. We learn about nature and animals with trips to parks, nature centers and zoos too! These were also my experiences growing up as well. It is my greatest desire to be able to provide a home that will continue to give children that same joy of life experiences.
Thank you again for taking the time to read my letter and I pray for success and peace in your loving journey.
