Hello!

We want to begin by saying thank you for taking the time to consider our family to be the family that welcomes and raises your child. We can’t imagine how hard this decision is for you. We know that it must take courage, bravery, and love to make the decision you are looking to make. We are praying for you and your child no matter what decision you choose to make!

We want to take a little time to tell you about our family and each member of it.

Liz is a math instructor at a community college. Being at a community college allows her to have a flexible schedule to spend more time with Hannah. She grew up in Pennsylvania but decided to move to the South to escape the snow. She has taught middle school, high school, and worked in education administration. At a young age, Liz always knew she wanted to be a mother when she grew up. It has been one of her greatest joys and blessings to be Hannah’s mother. She cannot wait to welcome another child into our home!

Cari works full-time with the Virginia National Guard. He knew at a young age that he wanted to be in the military. We are proud of our soldier and the time he dedicates to serving our country. Cari grew up in Western Virginia and moved East during college. Cari’s parents divorced at a young age and he had to split his time with them growing up. Because of this, he works to be a very intentional and present father. He and Hannah have a very special relationship!

Hannah is our only child and recently turned four. She has a big personality and is constantly making us laugh. She loves princesses, dinosaurs, fairies, and playing outside. One of her favorite things right now is to be a “helper” for whatever Liz and Cari are doing. Her favorite activity with Liz is baking, and she enjoys helping Cari wash the cars. Hannah loves taking care of her baby dolls, and we know that she will make the best big sister someday.

Our family loves spending time together, especially outdoors. On the weekends, we usually take a family walk or hike with our dog, Leo. We have created a fun, outdoor space in our backyard with patio, playset, and lots of seating to hang out with friends and family. We believe it is important to have a strong community for our children to grow up in. We have close friends that we have dinner with almost every weekend. We also are actively involved in our church. We will raise our children in the church and hope that gives them a strong, spiritual foundation to carry with them through life.

We know that this is a hard time for you with all the decisions ahead. Please know that we would love to provide your child with a family that will love, protect, and care for them for the rest of their lives. While we are so blessed to have Hannah, we know we have room in our hearts and home for another child. We would be honored if you chose us to raise your child. We will continue to pray for you on your journey and hope that God grants you peace as you make your decisions ahead.
