Richmond

 

Quality Assurance Specialist - This position is responsible for the development and implementation of all agency programs’ quality assurance and utilization review. Duties include reviewing and making recommendations regarding the programs’ policies, procedures and practices assuring compliance with standards and program models best practice; working with management team to develop measurable outcomes and quality improvement ensuring positive trends in performance on outcomes; and maintaining knowledge of regulatory, accreditation and agency standards including but not limited to LCPA, Medicaid, and COA standards. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of experience in quality analysis, audits, and record reviews. One part time position available in either the Richmond or Roanoke office.

 

Bilingual Counselor and Group Facilitator - This position provides individual, marital, family, and group counseling services to adults and children to help them achieve effective personal, marital, and family development. Qualified candidates will have their MSW or equivalent and three or more years of related experience and/or training; fluent in Spanish and have experience working with youth; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One part-time position available.

 

Homeless Transition Specialist - This position is responsible for conducting intake, assessment and referral for homeless and potential homeless clients. Duties include coordinating shelter and other services with partnering agencies and responding to immediate needs of clients; performing comprehensive client intake for homeless individuals and families; and developing an understanding of the programs at partnering agencies and community resources. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience with homeless population. One full-time position available.

 

 

 

Roanoke

Education Specialist - This position is responsible for administering the volunteer-based English language training program addressing refugee and immigrant client needs. Duties include planning education curriculum for both volunteer taught classes and individual tutoring, establishing class sites in underserved neighborhoods, coordinating educational services with local school administrators and other providers, and implementing funding grant objectives. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent with three years of related experience . Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field and experience teaching adult ESL. One full time position available.

 

Employment Trainer - This position supports the local employment training program for assigned clients to include job readiness, specific job skills training, and workplace literacy. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent with one year of related experience. Preferred candidates will have experience working with Limited English Proficiency populations. One full-time, 30 hour per week position available (hours may vary).

 

 

Norton

 

Clinical Supervisor – Treatment Foster Care - This position is responsible for the general supervision and training of assigned social work staff working with child placement, refugee services, families with special needs, and other programs. Duties include directly supervising , training, and evaluating social workers, outreach workers, and support staff; maintaining ongoing student field placement for Foster Care program; evaluating and developing program policy; assuring that all records are in compliance with licensing standards, accreditation standards, and agency policy; and other duties as assigned. Qualified candidates will have a Master’s degree in a related field with two years of related experience. One year of supervisory experience required. LCSW or LPC certified in the state of Virginia required. One full-time position available.

 

Foster Parent Specialist -This position is responsible for recruiting, assessing, and training qualified foster parents for the Foster Care program. Duties include assisting in development and implementation of foster parent recruitment and retention plan; identifying foster parent training needs; developing and coordinating foster parent orientation, pre-service training, and/or ongoing training; conducting home studies and certifying foster families; presenting to community groups; and other duties as assigned. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience. Preferred candidates will have a degree in social work and experience in marketing or recruiting. One full-time, 30 hour per week position available.
