Generous donations keep our food pantry stocked so no one has to go hungry.
HELP provides emergency financial, food, and long-term planning assistance to people facing a monetary crisis in the Richmond metro area. This time, money, and food goes directly to clients who need it.
Working with local churches and other contributors of financial resources and time, we provide the assistance needed to resolve a crisis, and the education to keep people on the road to self-sufficiency.
Financial assistance is also offered in Roanoke.
HELP provides assistance with the following:
- Past due rent or mortgage
- Past due utilities: water, electricity, gas, or oil
- Food

Financial Assistance Hours:
To make an appointment for financial assistance, call 804.285.5986 on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. Calls are accepted until all available appointment slots have been filled.
