Dear Birth Mother,

Thank you so much for taking the time to view our letter and our pictures and to learn a little more about us. We know that the decision you face is a tough one and we pray that you are able to make one that brings you peace.

We cannot imagine the weight of your decision, but we are so grateful for your unselfishness. We have always wanted to have children. When we were first married, we thought it was just a matter of time before we had a child. However, the years passed with increasing disappointment...we went through many infertility treatments with no success. Finally, we came to the decision that God wanted us to adopt. Our faith has allowed us to come through that challenging time and has given us the patience to continue on this long road to expanding our family.

Tim and I have been together for 12 years... married for 8. We met while we were in college and have been together ever since. We are a very active, fun loving couple that enjoys spending time with family and friends, running marathons and spending time outdoors. We are each other's best friend and do everything together. We feel that the only thing missing in our life is a child. We have both spent a lot of time around kids; we have four nephews and one niece, and know that we want that energy in our life.

We are not perfect, but we are perfect for each other. We compliment each other so well. We each will bring something special to our child's life. We are a good team and plan on sharing all responsibilities of parenting. We know we have a lot of love to share!!

We cannot wait to bring a child into our life and share our love for life with them. We intend on being very open with our child about how they came into our lives, and raising them with an awareness of adoption and what that means. We also plan on sharing as much as we can about you and the difficult decision you faced.
