How Can I Help?
There are numerous
opportunities to give throughout the year:
- Subscribe to our free newsletter, The
Chronicle, and make a donation via
the envelope provided.
- Designate Commonwealth Catholic Charities
as the recipient of your
United Way gift.
- Contribute food for the H.E.L.P food
pantry.
- Coordinate a food drive.
- Donate new or used baby items.
- Donate used cell phones.
- If you are Catholic, contribute to
the Commonwealth Catholic Charities’
collection on Christmas Eve or Christmas
Day in your parish.
- Donate or make a pledge to our Annual
Appeal beginning after Easter.
- Include Commonwealth Catholic Charities
in your will.
- Make a gift of securities, insurance
or real estate to the agency.
- Shop and use your Food
Lion MVP card.
Each time you shop at Food Lion and
use your MVP card, a portion of your
total grocery purchse will be donated
to CCC.
- Volunteer -- We have a variety of
rewarding volunteer opportunities in Richmond and Roanoke.
- Sponsor our annual fundraising events:
the Holiday
Festival of Music (Nov.) and the
Community Service
Awards Dinner (April).
